This weekend’s Pride Month celebration will be held in collaboration with New York City Council Member Shaun Abreu, New York City Council Member Carmen De La Rosa, NYS Assembly Member Al Taylor, and Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine. Special guests and honorees for this year's event include New York City community leaders Maite Junco, Vice Chancellor for Communications and Marketing at the City University of New York; Curtis D. Young, Executive Director, Artistic Noise; Allen Roskoff, Activist and New York City Leader; and Leigh Howard, Vice President, 1199SEIU.
New York City is home to the largest LGBTQ+ community in the nation, and this weekend, leaders and allies will gather celebrate these members of our community this Pride Month and acknowledge the significant contributions of the LGBTQIA+ community throughout our region.
