Get Your Free COVID-19 Tests TODAY!

NY-13 Residents Can Get 4 Free Tests at covidtests.gov

WASHINGTON, DC – Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) released the following statement in response to the Biden administration’s launch of the free COVID testing website, COVIDtests.gov.

“I commend today’s announcement from the Biden administration to launch the COVIDtests.gov website earlier today and the swift efforts to respond to this ongoing national public health crisis that continues to affect millions of Americans,” said Espaillat. “New York City’s seven-day average of new cases has dropped below 20,000 – less than half of the peak from earlier this month, but we are not through this yet and have made too much progress to turn back now. I am encouraging all residents throughout my district to go online today to order free at-home COVID-19 tests, it’s easier than ever to protect our friends and family. As we enter the new year, it remains critical that we continue to practice vigilance and caution if we are to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic. Together, we will get through this.”

Starting today, every home in the United States is eligible to order 4 at-home COVID-19 tests. These tests are completely free and orders will usually ship between 7-12 days.  You can order your tests at COVIDtests.gov.

Contact the offices of Congressman Adriano Espaillat for immediate help or additional assistance to order at-home COVID tests.

Representative Espaillat is the first Dominican American to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives and his congressional district includes Harlem, East Harlem, West Harlem, Hamilton Heights, Washington Heights, Inwood, Marble Hill and the north-west Bronx. First elected to Congress in 2016, Representative Espaillat is serving his third term in Congress. Representative Espaillat currently serves as a member of the influential U.S. House Committee on Appropriations responsible for funding the federal government’s vital activities. He is also a member of the House Committee on Education and Labor and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC), where he serves in a leadership role as the Second Vice Chair and is a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, where he serves as Deputy Whip.
